What I Found in my Closet this Week…
(Day 15 of the 365 Day Challenge)
**Old Navy‘s The Rockstar Jean Jacket**
One of my favorite staples in my closet for spring weather is the classic Jean Jacket. This piece is about as versatile as a clothing item can get. Perfect for spring and summer, the jean jacket can go from casual to dressed up just by changing how it is worn or what is worn with. In this picture I am just headed out the door to run some errands with my son. Paired with a simple pair of leggings and an infinity scarf (probably my favorite accessory this winter!) I’ve made the Jean Jacket on this particular day simple and casual. Remove the scarf, unbutton the jacket a little or all the way with a ruffled shirt or patterned cami layered underneath, roll up the sleeves, and pair it with a cute, bright colored skinny jean and wedges, and you have a whole different look. Gorgeous!
I love The Rockstar Jean Jacket because it fits perfectly and can be purchased at a bargain price. Retail price is $29.94, but many times you can find it on sale or on clearance. It also comes in a variety of colors. I have another one in lavender that I LOVE! Old Navy currently has limited supplies of The Rockstar Jean Jacket, but they do have others to choose from for the same price. The other thing that is great about Old Navy’s Jean Jackets is that you can purchase them in talls! For someone like me, that’s like heaven. If you’re tall, you know how hard it is to find jackets that have sleeves that are long enough…not a problem with this jacket! Another great place online to find Jean Jackets is at Tillys.com. These are true western-inspired jackets. They would look so cute with a great sun dress and a pair of cowboy boots…adorable! I particularly like their Amethyst Jean Jacket for only $34.99.
I also mentioned how in love I’ve been with the infinity scarf this season. One of my favorite places to look for deals on scarves is at Shopko.com. They have a wonderful assortment of regular scarves and infinity scarves for under $15.
