Parmesan Green Beans with Toasted Almonds
1 1/2 lbs Fresh Green Beans
1 tbsp Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
1 tbsp Light Butter ( I use I Can’t Believe its Not Butter)
Toasted Slivered Almonds
1. Cook green beans for 5 minutes in 1 inch boiling water, covered. Drain and place pan back on heat, keeping beans in colander.
2. Add olive oil and butter to pan. Swirl around pan until butter is melted. Add beans to pan and toss with olive oil and butter. Sprinkle with salt to taste.
3. Place beans on serving plates and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and toasted almonds.
So simple and goes well with any entree. Enjoy!
