What I Found in my Closet this Week…

This week my closet find is all about the handbag. More than just an accessory, the handbag or purse is every woman’s lifeline. I’m not sure how I’d survive without this piece of fabric slung over my shoulder. After all, it holds all those necessary items for running a few errands or a night out on the town like my wallet, checkbook, coupons, lipstick, kleenex, floss, camera, umbrella, mirror, hairspray…okay, maybe a little more than what I’d ever need, but again, how would we survive a run to the store with out it??? 🙂 Since this bag is almost like another limb, as women, we understand how we can’t just settle for any purse. It has to suit all our needs, be comfortable to carry, and of course, look cute! One of my favorite things about a new season is finding a new purse. I’m not one to change my purse with every outfit. I like finding one that works for all occasions and having one or two clutches in my closet for very special occasions. Summer handbag shopping is my favorite! With all the bright colors and patterns, its so fun to look through all the options.

Luckily, I had bought a new handbag for Spring and Summer 2013 back in February. With the dreary weather, I was looking so forward to warm temperatures (that still haven’t arrived, by the way), that I couldn’t resist adding something bright to my closet. And boy, did I hit the jackpot! I went pretty simple with a handbag I spotted at Target. The color is what drew me in! The Merona Hobo Handbag in Purple for only $32.99 is what I’m loving from my closet this week, and frankly, everyday! First of all, I LOVE the color! Available in a wide variety of other bright colors, such as red and turquoise, as well as neutral colors, such as natural and navy, this is one of my favorite purses I have ever owned. Not only does it look cute, but more importantly, it feels great and fits all of my “necessary” supplies perfectly without feeling too big or bulky. It contains one center compartment with a zipper, as well as two side snap compartments. The material is a polyurethane with a polyester lining. This handbag is a great bargain for the price and is one of my favorite accessories of the season!

This handbag is fun, stylish, and most importantly, functional!
