What I Found in my Closet this Week…

**Open Front Cardi**

I wear this cardi all the time! I love how it drapes on the sides and around the back and is shorter in front…perfectly on trend for 2013!

One of my favorite pieces in my closet this Spring (and last Spring and Fall for that matter) has been the Open Front Cardi. I have a few of these in a variety of colors, but my favorite, by far, is one I purchased over a year ago at Francesca’s Collections. Perfect for a day of running errands with my son or a casual evening out with my husband, this piece is all about comfort and style in one. The great thing about the cardi is the look can be changed up by what you wear under it and the bottoms you pair with it. In this picture, I was just getting ready to go run some errands. I wore a simple white tank top underneath and paired it with a casual pair of jeans. Many times, I’ll dress it up a bit by wearing a ruffle collared white shirt underneath or a gray lace cami from my closet. Worn with a great pair of white or black jeans and some cute shoes, the cardi I ran errands in is ready for a casual night out with Mike. I’m loving this piece for Summer. Perfect to slip over that adorable cami when the evening gets a little cool. Here are a couple new arrivals for the season at Francesca’s that I love just as much as the one from my closet:
