No summer gathering is complete without the perfect tropical cocktail. One of my favorite summer drinks is one that my best friend and I used to drink back in our college days at the good ‘ol University of Iowa. It’s a simple cocktail to mix and is just right for those warm summer evenings. As a tribute to our college days I’ve named this cocktail Iowa Peach Tea. This is how we do tea in Iowa :)…
You will only need to purchase three ingredients for this cocktail: 2 peaches, peach schnapps, and a sugar free peach iced tea mix. There are several different brands of this, but I’m always happy with Market Pantry’s from Target.
Fill your favorite pitcher with 64 oz of water and stir in one packet of peach iced tea mix. Then add 12 oz of peach schnapps and stir well. To finish, slice one of the peaches and drop in pitcher…beautiful!
I use the other peach to cut into slices and to garnish the glasses. Perfect for a beautiful evening out on the deck!
