I know that May’s Splurge of the Month was a dress from White House Black Market, but its hard for me to resist this store and all their stunning dresses during the summer season. So June’s Splurge of the Month continues my love affair with one of my favorite dress shops and their fabulous summer dresses. Since I’ve focused on dresses for two months in a row, I will be publishing a Part I and Part II Splurge of the Month for June so I can highlight something besides dresses.
One of my favorite new trends for summer is the One-Shoulder Dress! Romantic and flirty, this style of dress is just right for that big event you’re attending this summer or that special trip you and your special someone have planned. Its also the perfect dress to show off those arms you’ve been working so hard to define over the past several months. As many of you know, I’m in love with color so two of the dresses I’ve picked are painted in beautiful hues that have summer written all over them. If there were ever anything to splurge on this summer, these dresses are it! You’ll be the bell of the ball in these sexy, yet classy choices!
This first dress is my absolute favorite! The flowing chiffon fabric of this dress, in summer’s most stunning pink, makes this dress my number one pick. Imagine the heads you’ll turn walking into the room with this gorgeous dress, hair done just right, and paired with the perfect accessories. Listed at $180, this Pink Chiffon One Shoulder Dress is definitely worth the splurge!!!
Another trend this year is the fun split sleeve. This next dress combines both this and the one shoulder in a brilliant sea glass blue. Listed for $150, this dress is another great find from one of my favorite stores!
No dress post would be complete without a little black dress. For those of you looking for something a little more classic, this Buckle One Shoulder Dress in black takes this same style and puts it in a comfortable, yet flattering, jersey knit. Listed for $150, you’re sure to be turning heads at that next major event!
Have fun shopping! I would love to see pics of some of you in these gorgeous dresses! Remember, this year I have to live vicariously through all of you 🙂
