What I Found in my Closet this Week…

(Day 148 of the 365 Day Challenge)

**Loose Fitting Tunics & Leggings**

Don’t you love days when you don’t have to worry about styling your hair or putting on makeup? That’s exactly what kind of day this was…a laid back, no fuss day filled with a nice run, a play date with a friend and her son, and an afternoon nap. Luckily, I picked out the perfect, most comfortable outfit for just that kind of day.

Boot cut leggings or yoga pants and loose fitting shirts layered with a long cami can be found anywhere these days and are perfect for the busy mom who wants to look cute but still be able to get down on the floor and play with her kids.

This outfit is an assortment of pieces from different places. The pants are the Runaround Pant from CAbi. Most cities have a CAbi consultant in them that you can find by looking online. These pants are great because they feel like yoga pants, but are a little thicker and look more like dress pants when paired with a long sweater or tunic. You can find boot cut yoga pants anywhere these days. My top is a throw back top to the 80s, again, a style that is very trendy right now and comfortable. This top is from one of my favorite stores – Francesca’s Collections. I LOVE this store, and their clothes are so affordable. One thing I really like about this collection is that there are limited boutiques around the country and only so many pieces are made in each style so usually what you find is pretty close to an original and something you won’t find many other people wearing. If you don’t have a Francesca’s close to you, you can shop online at francescas.com. Underneath my top, I have a long Merona cami from Target. Target’s camis are great because they are inexpensive and are long…which goes great with all the leggings and skinny jeans that are in style these days. I finished the outfit off with, of course, a pair of red flats for a pop of color. These shoes are wonderful because they’re comfortable, easy to get off and on, and cute  These shoes are Croft and Barrow that I purchased from Kohls….another store I love since they practically give things away through their sales, promotions, and coupons.

In my opinion…loose fitting tunics, camis, and leggings should be in every mom’s closet because they’re comfortable, easy to take care of, and look adorable
