Mocktails – Pineapple Citrus Spritzer

For those of you looking for a healthier, lower calorie alternative to your traditional cocktail, here’s a favorite of mine that comes in at only 83 calories per glass!  This drink is so good you’ll feel like you’re drinking a regular cocktail.  Enjoy!

Pineapple Citrus Spritzer

8 oz 50 calorie Orange Juice

2 oz Pineapple Juice

4 oz Seltzer or Sparkling Water

Margarita Salt for Rim

**Optional Garnish – Orange or Pineapple Slice; Rosemary Sprig**

**If you want a regular cocktail, cut the orange juice down to 6 oz and add a 1.5 oz shot of Gold Tequila**

Directions:

1. Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice.  Add orange juice, pineapple juice, and seltzer water.  Shake well.

2. To salt your glass, wet the rim using either a bowl that has water in it and dipping the rim in the bowl or wetting the rim with a damp cloth.  Dip the rim in the salt.

3. Pour mixed drink into salted rim glass.  In my picture I was just making it for myself so I didn’t garnish the glass, but if I was having people over I would add an orange or pineapple slice to the rim and/or place a sprig of rosemary in the glass.  Beautiful and delicious!
